We are proud to be the first agency in Vancouver to offer Home Support and Care Management on a sliding fee scale. JFSA Home Support is the only service to offer home support at three hourly rates based on income. These rates are as follows:
Annual Income of $14,200 or less
- First 5 hours per week at $9.00 per hour
- Second 5 hours a week at $14.00 per hour
- Additional hours at $21.00 per hour
Annual Income of $14,200-$25,000
- First 8 hours per week at $13.00 per hour
- Second 8 hours at $16.00 per hour
- Additional hours at $21.00 per hour
Annual Income over $25,000
- Household Care Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Personal Care Rate: $23.00 per hour
JFSA Care Management
Initial Home Assessment (approximately one hour visit with subsequent written report)
- Rate: $80.00
Development of Care Plan, ongoing monitoring including home visits, ongoing communication with family members as requested and agreed to by client
- Rate: $40.00 per hour
Annual income of $14,200 or less
- Rate: no charge
Annual income of $$14,200-$25,000
- Rate: $20.00 per hour
Annual income over $25,000
- Rate: $40.00 per hour
Those requesting subsidy are required to show JFSA staff proof of income. The standard documentation is a Notice of Assessment from an Income Tax return.
